The market and the specific customer who requires that fruit or vegetable products be packaged as they wish decide on the choice of containers. It is not good to do this without agreement with the customer. You can package strawberries in 250g, 500g, and 1000g without a lid or with a lid and shell lid. If you have a flow pack machine, you can wrap containers with strawberries in film or net.
So let the customer decide what packaging is needed.
Some smaller markets sometimes request unusual packaging, so we give an example: blueberries are usually packaged in 125 or 250g, however some request packaging of 1000g.
If you don't have a specific customer and plan to sell at wholesale markets or local markets, then it's best to choose the usual packaging for each type.
